Joey is a pony who has been there and done that. We have done ribbon days, pony club, eventing, jumping, show hunter, dressage, etc. You name it we have most likely done it!

He is a great pony to look at and has done well in the show ring. It is rare that they have entered an event and not come away with a ribbon, including many Champions and Reserves, often competing against much bigger ponies and older riders. Currently competing at about 60-65cm but can certainly go higher. Has jumped 80cm in schooling. He has great potential to go far in Show Hunter. Previous owner had great fun Hunting him.

I’m not going to lie; he has pony attitude and quite a dominant personality. He is not a 1st ridden pony and needs a confident and firm rider and does better when under full work.

He is fine for the vet, dentist, farrier (barefoot) and to be clipped. He is generally good to float but can’t be rushed. He is absolutely fine to tie up to float and leave whilst out and about but can be fidgety to ride in new surroundings. He can be grazed by himself but does prefer to be with others.

He has been an awesome pony for our rider and has taught her lots. They have had fun adventures together, but sadly she has now outgrown him. We love him to bits, and this is a hard sale so the home he goes to is very important to us.
