Welsh x Thoroughbred
Bailey is a 14.2 (life certificate) 15yr old gelding.
He is lovely to ride, well dressage schooled to level 2, but dressage has not been this riders focus.
Has a wonderful jump but doesn’t enjoy it so starts to stop and becomes spooky above 80cm, he can also become strong when jumping
This past year has competed in the Pony Scurry events where he won his heat in Riccarton and came third at the national finals.
Bailey is fantastic to deal with on the ground. Easy to float, straight loads, angle loads, and trucks well. Easy to worm, catch, shoe. Great down the road with company and without
Can be fast and turn on a dime so could see him excelling in barrow racing. He is also great to get cattle in.
Bailey is registered with the Golden Horse society, and has dappled in showing. He also produces nice Round the Ring Hunter rounds and has come away with Champion Pony.
He’s a little timid around new people but once he warms up to you he is your new best friend
A sad sale as the rider wants to show jump. A good home is a must.
