Crystal is a 14.1hh beautiful Palomino Quarter Horse Cross Mare, 10 years old. Perfect to catch,float/truck, clip and shoe.

She is the mother’s dream out hacking alone or with others on the farm or at the beach this is her absolute happy place. She is well used to motorbikes, diggers and busy household.

Anyone that knows Crystal on the showjumping circuit knows her for her striking ability and willingness to win.

Crystal stepped up to Pony Grand Prix last season with huge success gaining thirteen 1st places last season, 3 at Pony Grand Prix level being her first season at this level, she finished the season 11th on the NZ Pony Grand Prix Leaderboard.


While this talented wee mare has had experience jumping Grand Prix, we've noticed a slight dip in her confidence with the higher heights this season. To keep her happy and performing at her best, we've brought her back to a more comfortable level, where she’s absolutely enjoying herself and loving being in the winner’s circle again.

Her ideal jockey would be a gutsy kid who wants to win, starting at the lower heights and building up to Mini Prix/Grand Prix in the next season or so. I have no doubt she will make it back to the top. I wish I could keep her, but the reality is that my rider for her is moving off ponies this season, and my two young girls aren’t ready for her. She’s wasted being my happy hacker. She loves jumping so much, and I want to see her continue her success with her new jockey.
