SCHOOL MISTRESS FOR SALE
Westbrook Diana
15 year old Warmblood/ ERP mare 143.5cm
Princess Diana will need no introduction to most people. Consistently placed in top 5 of her eventing starts over the past few years. Numerous wins, too many to list!
I would describe her as a school mistress pony (this is not to be confused as a push button pony!) , so with that sort of experience you are going to have age BUT she still has many many years left competing, and would happily take another child from 65 to 80 competing.
Has quirks - like most good ponies do, we find them easily managed, but that doesn't mean they are for you! Am happy to discuss with serious buyers.
Diana has taught my daughter so much in the 3.5 years we have owned her, but it's time for her to go and teach a new kid the ropes. Definitely more of a 2nd pony type. Can get fizzed up in the start box eventing, but this has developed as her rider has got more confident over the years, and is a sign of her being fresh and well and ready to compete.
Has been ridden lately by 2 smaller riders and never once put a foot out of place.
Consistently places each time she steps out!, Took my daughter from 65 to 80cm eventing with some great results along the way. Is a clean and tidy jumper.
Schools at 90/95cm, BUT we have found competing at this level is not her thing, so have never pushed the issue, and would like this to continue in her new home. Although we recently took her to the Dunstan Show jump day at Amberley where she had 4 clear rounds, 3 at 80 & 1 at 90, taking a win in the Gambler stakes, and a second in her IJO off and speed round at 80.
She has not been competed every weekend, with us always having 2-3 ponies to compete, and she has definitely benefited from that.
Was previously competed to level 5 Dressage (and has trained to level 6) with her previous owner, so can boogie! But she likes variety. Trips to the beach, forest hacking etc. so would prefer her to go to a home that can provide this.
we have 100’s of photos and videos that can be passed along.
5* Home is essential.
Will NOT be sold sight unseen.
