13.2hh riding pony/welsh cross

Registered with both riding pony and welsh society. We have had Hank for two seasons now, purchased for my then 10yr old son as a second pony - however we are realising it’s time to find him a new home due to son’s ever growing long legs!!

Hank is a very consistent, reliable flat ridden pony, although we had not had a lot of experience in the show ring prior to getting Hank, we entered many A and P shows and had great success at each one coming home with plenty of champion and reserves. Hank has beautiful movement and really had been schooled well for this discipline, he would also make a lovely dressage pony.

Hank has been used for pony club, area dressage, area show jumping and this season the pony scurry. My son concentrated on showing as he was not a confident rider over jumps at that age and really enjoyed it.

Hank is a forward but keen jumper, he has a nice style over the fences and enjoys jumping, he’s currently schooling 75/80cm rounds at home and will jump higher. (Videos available from last week) If not sold Hank will be kept in light work and used for SJ later in the season. Hank has hunted with the home before us, we were told he was great to hunt but very strong.

Hank can be grazed on his own or with a mate, he has strong feet and does not need shoes - no probs to clip wash, truck, shoe etc. Hank is a pack a day smoker (wind sucks) but this can be managed either with a leather collar or electric tape in front of boundary posts and he does not bother

Home far more important than the price, we really love Hank and want him in an amazing new home soon
