Flo
3.5 year old rising 4 mare
Sire - solitaire HL
Dam - TB Mare

I have had Flo for just over a year now, in that time I have broken her in and she has been exposed to machinery, vehicles, tractors and a lot of other heavy equipment.

At the moment she is ridden 3 days a week by a friend with those days being a mixture of road riding, schooling and hacking.

She has been on a few outing to the local arena in town and handled it all like a pro.

Flo is a quiet and easy to do anything with pony, who has adjusted well to anything she has been pointed at so far. She is first to meet you at the gate and loves pats and people.

Flo has been ridden mainly in a jump saddle but has also been ridden in a western saddle on multiple times.

Good for farrier, dentist, vet and people to handle. Even if they are nervous around horses. Good around sheep, cows, dogs and cats. Happily paddocks alone or with other horses, she does get a bit noisy if her friends are taken out of the paddock but calms down after a few minutes.

Flo enjoys having a job to do and enjoys being ridden. Flo was broken in at 3 years old and was super easygoing. She has never done anything nasty while riding. Does throw in the odd small buck/ leap but has never unsat me. (Has body work and dentist regularly)

She has walk, trot, canter, stop, left, right buttons installed, knows the correct leads (is yet to learn how to change leads but we are not pushing it) listens to voice and change in body weight (when I broke her in I didn’t put a lot of pressure on the bit so she learnt what weight change means when I want her to slow down or speed up)

Flos sire (solitaire HL) is competing to Amature level and I can see Flo being a mini/ Grand Prix prospect in future. In the limited amount of jumping we have done she has shown great potential and is a super honest pony, who in the correct hands will excel in the show jump ring. She has not been jumped very much at all so is still green with this but what she has jumped she’s popped over first go. (Fills, logs, coloured poles) She would also be a nice show hunter pony.

She has been stalled inside and in outside yards, respects tape (usually hot but hasn’t touched ours which isn’t on.)

Flo will not be sold sight unseen and no lease to buy.

While Flo is a fun safe pony she is only rising 4 so is still green, experienced home is preferred.
