Exceptional, kind, talented pony with a heart of gold reluctantly for sale. Trying to delay this but it is time for him to find his next home and rider that will cherish him as much as I have over the past 3 years.
Austin is 146.5 cm life cert gelding. Super pony for a young rider looking for their next mount that offers no limitations on what they can achieve together. Would be a very competitive hunter round the ring and saddle hunter on the flat.
Austin is a nice type with a cheeky personality, will follow you around the paddock and is always the 1st one at the gate He has evented to 95cm trained at 1*/2*, very careful and scopey. He is a full wire hunter and was with Christchurch hunt Club during the 22/23 season. Clean jumper loves open fields. Loves hacking out which we did weekly to keep him happy super to hack out alone or with company. He has a very soft snaffle mouth so requires a rider with soft allowing hands. Rides more like a small hack as has a good ground covering stride. No issues at all with trucking/floating, clipping, shoeing or for the dentist. Was not competing in the 2023/2024 season as the rider was out with injury and now about to turn 17. Currently in light work, good to turn out with no issues bringing back into work as he is so eager to be worked and having a job to do. Austin has won numerous Championships showjumping 1m-1.15 current rider trained him upto 1.30 but straight showjumping is not really his thing as prefers a variety. Austin won open hunter over wire 2023 at Brackenfield.
Suit rider wanting to work up the grades and have fun doing so won't be sold to a straight showjumping home. Genuine enquiries only as this is a very hard reluctant sale.
