Archie is a 141.5 cm (CAT B) 12 year old Northland pony. Archie has a kind and willing nature, and is very low maintenance. He is excellent to clip, trim, drench and travel. Has great teeth and feet. We have owned Archie for the last three years, and over that time had a go at just about everything including endurance riding, eventing, show jumping, pony club, trekking, beach riding and more. More recently Archie has completed his first season of show hunter, which really suits his nature. He qualified and placed at HOY 2024. Archie is a dream to keep clean, and scrubs up beautifully for a show, with a tail most showies would dream of.

Being from the bush Archie does get confidence from his rider and herd. He is very safe to ride in a group and happy to stay at the back even if the group is leaving him. I think he would be a great hunt pony. Ideal home can offer this pony the variety he enjoys.
