Pony for sale

Willow Downs Wairua (Spirit) - 9 year old Welsh x Arab mare, former bush pony with life experience.
 
Spirit is everyone's favourite fun pony. She has progressed from being a green pony jumping 60cm to up to 1m in two seasons. Spirit has show jumped up to 1m with placings but is most comfortable at 90cm. She is quick and nimble in jump-offs but also happy to go at the pace chosen by her rider. Spirit has also competed in show hunter, eventing 65cm and attended Pony Club. She is ridden in a snaffle bit for all events. Spirit is easily and safely ridden bareback. Enjoys hacking and is good with traffic. She is a very adjustable pony happy and relaxed on a long rein or works on the bit nicely. With a rider more focused on dressage, she could produce some lovely tests.
 
Spirit had one unexpected foal 4-5 years ago with her previous owners after arriving from the North Island.
 
Spirit is the easiest pony to have around, very friendly and gentle, low on the pecking order, not mareish and respects tape. Loves attention, not strong or pushy. Easy to float, truck, shoe, clip, wash, plait and stay away at shows. Wears a nose guard in summer for sun protection. Loves eating and has been known to self-load on the float to eat when no-one is looking! Mother’s dream pony to take out. She falls asleep outside the ring in between classes.
 
Could suit a rider with steady hands coming off a first ridden pony. Knowledgeable kind home only. Rider sadly outgrown. References required.
