for someone to own a lovely well-bred proven broodmare and her quality filly foal.

Pure Paint Mare: ‘El Cabello Cry Baby’ (aka Babe) Sire: Zippability (Quarter Horse) Dam: Silverado Cheyenne (Paint Horse).
She has a gorgeous, registered filly foal at foot: ‘La Caballo Strikes Gold’ (aka Honey) by: Golden Strike, (German Riding Pony stallion.)

She’s a gentle mare with a huge heart, and breeds lovely moving, eye catching foals with wonderful temperaments.
With her friendly, kind nature, she is a pleasure to own, she is uncomplicated, patient, and safe in every which way – nothing much phases her! She is good to inject, scan, walk in/out of crushes, unfamiliar buildings, floats/trucks, is easy to foal down and is the most amazing, caring mother. Her progeny inherit her calm sensible nature, wonderful movement and striking good looks. She has bloodlines with colour which makes her an interesting breeder, she has produced a Buckskin, a Chesnut Tobiano and a Palomino so far. She has been the ideal mare for me (17yrs old) to learn more about horse breeding.

Before coming to me, she competed in both English and Western events – jumping, barrel racing, cutting stock etc, and hacking. She will happily let kids sit on her and walk around but I have never saddled her up. She has a pedigree of world-class champions, with sires and dams from both sides excelling in many different disciplines in AUS and NZ, including her grandsire ‘Inevitably’ who was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame - Australia’s highest honour.

Honey: a gorgeous foal in both looks and nature.
Her pretty head, fine conformation and beautiful movement make her a real showstopper! She has one blue eye!, a bright personality and is a very friendly, curious girl who loves to be around people. She stands quietly to be scratched all over so is a going to be an easy blank canvas for someone.

Her bloodlines are impressive! With Golden Strike as her sire, she has a pedigree full of outstanding German Riding Ponies that have competed successfully in dressage and show jumping internationally. She also has world-class champions on her dams side, which makes her a high quality, top level prospect for a range of disciplines.

In 2019 Golden Strike was awarded Principal Stallion status with the NZWB Assoc, due to his creditable performances in sport. He needs no introducing but is currently competing at level 4 dressage and about to make the transition to level 5. His lengthened trot is a highlight, and his naturally balanced and uphill canter is beautifully adjustable. He competed up to 1.10m in Show Hunter and is showing great talent for this as well as proving his scope and technique.
Golden Strike is an athletic, uphill mini powerhouse, combine that with his excellent temperament and trainability – he is a stallion that has it all.

Honey is an outstanding palomino filly foal who was born in November '23 healthy and well with no issues, she has had a nutritious and easy start to life without any bad experiences. She is registered with Golden Horse NZ and can be registered with the NZWB Association as well.

This is a sad sale, but I’ve finished school, got a full time job and am unable to keep them any longer.
Buy them both for $8,000.00 - I will consider part or full payment of livestock / horse float if you can offer these two the best new home.
