Pony for sale

Milo is a 14.2hh 9.5 year old Stationbred X bay gelding. Good to trim and shoe, (has great feet), float, catch, worm etc, and a good doer.

He is a kind and cheeky pony who likes his cuddles and will meet you at the gate and follow you around the paddock. He has been on lease and ridden by an experienced lady rider for the start of the season up until Christmas and in that time went to a young riders day camp, lessons, hacking and schooling at home. We took him to pony club and the beach when we had him prior to that.

Milo has so much potential but will do best with a confident, consistent rider - he is not suitable as a first pony, which is what we bought him as (this horsey Mum has learned a lot about finding horses for children!). Milo looks to his rider for guidance when he is unsure and my nervous beginner was not a good fit. No rear or anything nasty but he needs a rider who can use their legs and set boundaries when required. He would ideally suit a confident rider on their 2nd pony or small adult. He's now in Cambridge continuing his education with an experienced rider, and thriving.

Milo is very athletic, forward moving and has a fantastic jump (can pop over 90cm at home no issues) but is still green when it comes to fill - his outings have been limited for his age but his confidence will grow with more exposure and the right rider.

Milo is home measured as a pony but can be sold subject to life height certification as a pony.

If you've got confidence, you may be the perfect partner for Milo. When this lovely boy finds 'his person' he's going to fly!
