I had a break from riding for 20 years though I am now back full steam ahead. I am loving producing young horses. I have a good eye for a horse and that has helped me from the onset.

It's been a wicked ride so far breaking in Quantico (my 2* eventer) and I am finding that I am reaping the rewards of the bond I've built along the way.

I have also produced Mr Hokey Pokey and Mendoza through to 1*, and have recently handed the reins over to Donna Smith. Both horses are such incredible jumpers and it's going to be exciting watching them progress from where I got them to.

The satisfaction is amazing that I have put the "basics" into these horses, so that someone of Donna's experience is confident to jump on and progress them forward without hesitation.

I've now started with a new team of young horses as an Assistant Trainer under Donna. I admire her incredible horsemanship and am growing as a rider and trainer of horses under her eye.

I can't think of many things better in life than to spend my days working with these incredible animals.
