Attractive Grey Gelding. Out of Silver Blue (Gisborne Bred) by Lansing

George has been with us for nearly 6 years so as you can imagine this is a very sad sale for us.

George is currently completing at 95 cm eventing and ready to step up to 105 cm. Has show jumped to 1.05 m. He has plenty of potential to jump higher in both show jumping and cross country, his rider lacks the confidence to go bigger. Competed to Level 2 dressage and starting to school some Level 3 movements, flying changes are installed. George has full wire hunted with previous owners.

George has been to pony club, A & P Shows, great to hack out alone and in a group, at the beach – goes into the waves, great to ride bareback, road riding. Our daughter takes him out on her own.

George loves a job and loves the challenge of cross country. He had never done xc when we got him and has absolutely loved this, moving from 65 through to schooling 105 +. George is extremely brave and bold on cross country, and this is his passion and in the same breath would be just as happy as a show jumping horse. George loves to have variety in his work.

George is beautifully schooled in all 3 areas and has a great work ethic. George is easy to handle and is great with the farrier, clipping etc. George floats on straight loader and angle and in the past he has also trucked.

George is quite a sensitive boy, and requires a kind, understanding home.

George comes with all his gear – Bates jump and dressage saddles that are fitted by David Parry-Jones, bridle, xc & sj boots and a wardrobe of covers that is huge.

George is only for sale as I no longer ride and daughter is off to Uni next year.
