Perfect Harmonee (aka Ned)

Ned is a 13yr 15.2hh thoroughbred gelding by Nadeem.

I got Ned straight off the track, after a successful racing career, at the end of 2019 as my first horse when I was 12yr and have produced him myself.

Over the last 5 years that I have owned Ned he has been an amazing first horse for me coming off ponies. He has taught me so much over the years which has helped me move on to other horses and jump the bigger heights. Ned is very quick and clever over his fences and in a jump-off. He has competed up to 90cm with placings, and schooling 1m at home/lessons, he will try his heart out for you in the ring and is the neatest ride and I have so much fun taking him out to shows. Although I haven’t done much x-country on him or any hunting, I believe he could make a handy eventer and could potentially be great on the hunting field. I myself am more focused on showjumping so I don’t get out doing much other than that.

Ned can be strong so needs a confident rider who enjoys going out to the odd show or maybe go hunting on the weekend with mates or just going for a hack around the farm. He could potentially progress up the heights with the right rider but otherwise he is most comfortable and competitive
under 1m. He can be ridden on his own or in company, but does enjoy (and performs best) being in regular work.

He holds his weight very well, doesn’t miss a feed and is great to handle in every way, drenching, feeding, covering, shoeing, trucking, floating, going away overnight etc. Ned can be paddocked alone or with company and he has the most amazing personality and likes to pull cheeky faces.

This is a very sad sale due to no fault of his own, just other work commitments needing to come first and too many horses, but it is unfortunately time for him to find his new forever home and will only
go to a 5 star home. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Ned over the last 6 years and his amazing unique personality that comes with him and hope someone gets to enjoy that as much as I did.
