Twain is a 14 year old 16.2hh bay gelding by Stone River Tane. He has competed successfully with wins and placings up to Junior Rider level (1.25). He is the perfect combination of both competitive and genuine with all the buttons firmly established, which makes him ideal for a rider coming off ponies, an adult returning to riding, or anyone just wanting a fun competitive all-round horse. Very well schooled on the flat, has hunted, brave at XC and while we have focussed in SJ, he would make an awesome working hunter/ show hunter horse. We bought a Twain as our daughter’s first hack and he has taught her so much and given her so much confidence that she is now ready to focus on bringing through her greener horses. Twain has been the perfect horse for me to step back into riding after 30 years and while I would keep him for myself I am sure there is another rider out there needing this dream unicorn!
Absolutely no vices, very honest, can be pulled out of a paddock after a good break and just pick up from where he left off! Twain is loved by everyone! Good to float/truck/drench/shoe/hack etc and is a great do-er. Based in Wellington, 5* home only!
