For sale by owner (since weaned) Grey 4 year mare by purebred Irish Draught Ballineen Blue Mountain out of Katies Sister (TB)

Hazel is clever, friendly, sensible and very good-looking young mare. Hazel has had the best of starts, with regular sessions at “big girl school”, Hazel has been lightly backed and is confident being long reined including being walked down country roads, trotting over poles and being led from another horse. She is good for the farrier, is being taught to self-load and has a sensible can-do attitude.

While the basics have been installed, however still green and she now needs an experienced rider that can help realise her full potential. Hazel has the potential to succeed in the show ring but is also a very versatile type.
Hazel at her first two shows as a 2-year won: Courtenay A & P Show 2022 – Champion Youngstock South Island Premier Championship Show: Champion Led Hack and Hunter 2022.
Hazel is currently at "big girl school" and enjoying her time immensely, she will be competing at an in-hand show in January. Videos available on request.
