Dom competed to 7yr/1.30 before being sold in 2022 to a young rider who focussed on lower level outings and flat work. He was purchased mid 2023 by a junior rider as her first hack and SJed to 1.15 but this year her focus was on her studies so work has been sporadic. Dom is happily schooling around 1.20m+ courses and competed an easy 1.10 and placed second in the 1m last weekend. He’s incredibly easy, competitive and fun.
Dom has a natural engine with a great canter and a clean and scopey jump. Looks for his fences, helps his rider out from any distance and jumps angles confidently. Is established on the flat with changes and laterals. Will be very competitive as a JR/AR mount. Suitable as a first hack for a competitive younger rider.
Well schooled on the flat and produces a lovely test - 68% in his most recent. He is super xc. Bold and automatic and doesn’t look at a thing.
He is a character who enjoys work and is fun and easy. Great to take out, to the beach etc in a group and alone. Genuine sale on behalf as rider is at uni.
