Sam is a wonderful horse in all aspects, ready to teach a new person the ropes of upper level dressage. He has 3 outstanding paces with serious talent for the collected work, is very consistent and tries so hard to please. He has won countless regional championships up to Inter A/B, and led the South Island Zilco MFS Inter A/B series as well as the South Island Inter A/B Super 5 series last season. Sam has the potential to make the step up to Grand Prix level, and would be the perfect mount to challenge the FEI u25 Grand Prix classes.

Sam is sensible and sane, one day he can be winning the Inter B and the next day he’ll be mustering in the hills. He’s lovely to handle on the ground and is great in company or alone. Beginners and children ride him happily. He has done a little bit of jumping and eventing where he has been successful, as well as being a multi champion saddle hunter and a fabulous rider mount for the show ring.

Sam is a one in a million horse, who is for sale through no fault of his own. We would love to see him thrive in a 5* home, he deserves the very best. Viewings available in Canterbury, he will be competing at Canterbury Champs 30 Nov/1 Dec.
