Henton First Impression (Bonnie) is a quality, young, modern Hanoverian purpose bred eventer/show jumper, being sold by Henton Lodge Hanoverians. Henton Lodge are breeders of numerous successful eventers and show jumpers.

She has risen through the eventing and show jumping ranks during her five year old 2023/2024 season, taking everything in her stride while achieving consistent results :-

Her dressage is becoming more established as she gets stronger, but she is always within striking distance. She is ridiculously brave cross country - but not a strong ride - for one of her limited years and a clean show jumper – hence her consistent results.

She is by frozen semen from the Thoroughbred sire, approved for Hanoverian breeding, French Buffet xx, from a Stolzenburg/Gymnastic Star/ Graf Landau/Thoroughbred mare. The VDL stallion French Buffet xx himself jumped at 1.60 Grand Prix level and he has sired some very useful 3* & 4* eventers in Europe. Her dam line is exceptional. Bonnie is very purpose bred with the right amount of Hanoverian warmblood and Thoroughbred.

Bonnie’s regular amateur rider, our daughter, has just confirmed a position in London for a two year period. So sadly we must part with her to a competitive, knowledgeable and loving home where she will go either eventing or show jumping. With what she has shown us so far, this (non marey) mare has a serious future.

She is young, sound (clear xrays from two years ago available), very brave and a super jumper.

She is well mannered and a delight to handle in every way, plus she is partial to the odd cuddle!
