Miss Dior aka Ella
Chestnut mare
15 years old
15.1hh
English riding pony x
Show jumper/ Cross Country - one day events

Soft Mouth - soft hands
Behaviour = moody mare
Loves company (horse or human)
Wants to jump over every jump she sees.
Good at floating
No bad or dangerous behaviour (only flicks her tail at you when brushing behind.)
Must be shod all year around

(The highest I have jumped (as a non jumping rider) her is 1.10 meters, and she would love to jump higher.)

Ella is not a beginners horse or for non jumping riders. She requires a competent and confident rider who wants to move up higher in show jumping, cross country and/or dressage. Whilst she has beautiful paces, all well established she is not happy doing flat work unless you mix it up with jumping. Ella would not be suitable for someone looking at solely pursuing Dressage.

Ella  has successfully competed as a young horse in dressage and in the show ring (Miss Dior) winning Rising Star park hack Horse Of the Year. Ella spent two years in training for a para rider, but never got to compete despite much of effort (riders health declined).

Ella then had two foals both with excellent confirmation after she scarred her back leg. Her previous owner has had this x-rayed and it’s superficial, NO damage below the skin. I can always reach out to the previous owner to find out who was the vet that took the images if requested.

Ella’s previous owner focused on Show Jumping and ODE with her competing up to 1.10 cm. Her previous owner also competed at ribbon day events (that’s how we found Ella with her gorgeous movement at a ribbon day in Waimauku.)

I bought Ella for Dressage (my love) however Ella's true love is umping and I struggled to provide her with enough jumping to satisfy her in order to get the beautiful, consistent movement she is capable of for dressage competitions.
