Henton High Court (Hugo) is a quality, elegant, modern Hanoverian purpose bred eventer/show jumper/show hunter, being sold by Henton Lodge Hanoverians. Henton Lodge are breeders of numerous successful eventers and show jumpers.

He is a very genuine all round consistent competitor. With wins and placings at eventing up to 2* (limited starts at this level), show hunter, show jumping and dressage - however his specialty has been eventing.

At the 2023 National Taupo Three Day Event Championships he was the CCN105-L Champion, this followed the Vice Champion CCN95-L at the 2022 National Taupo Three Day Event Championships.

Most recent :-
Stop the press, Hugo had another successful weekend this time at Kihhikihi Horse Trials at CNC *. Fourth after the dressage to finish in 6th final placing after a cross country, clear no time and jump faults. He is mister consistency!

Other recent successes :
2024 Ranlab National One Day Championship 4th in CCN105 Open, 2nd after dressage and only adding time faults to the final score.
2024 Stevenson Clevedon Pony Club 95, coming back after a break, 1st on a score of 20
2023 Power Farming Brookby Horse Trial CCN2* 3rd
2023 Woodhill show jumping and dressage 1st place
2023 Arran Station Horse Trial CCN1* 5th
2023 Springbush CCN105-5 4th
2023 Hawkes Bay Eventing CCN105-S 4th
2023 National Three Day Eventing Championships CCN105-L Champion

Hugo has been incredibly consistent always being in the top 5 if not better in the dressage, a very clean show jumper with a great technique over a cross country fence.

He is by the German Hanoverian sire Hyperion, who himself if by the famous event sire Heraldix XX. From a Limonit/Anamour/Distelfink/Thoroughbred mare - so very purpose bred with the right amount of Hanoverian warmblood and Thoroughbred.

Hugo's regular amateur rider, our daughter, has just confirmed a position in London for a two year period, so sadly we must part with Hugo to a competitive, knowledgeable and loving home.

Videos available upon request.

He is a delight to handle in every way.
