Global PH Cupid is an 8YO 170cm Gelding with an outstanding pedigree, Colman x Corrado x Lord x Ramiro (the Ramiro mare was the mother of the great sire Contender). Cupid’s mother jumped up to 1.50m in Europe, his pedigree is full of top 1.60m jumpers.
 
Cupid has just turned 8 years old (6th March), he has been successful throughout the age group classes with wins and placings in the 6YO, he came 2nd at Takapoto 2022 and 3rd Series final 7YO 2023. Currently competing Young Rider and Mini Prix with just doing the Silver tour at Takapoto (1.35m-1.40m). He has had good results at this level and only had one down in his first Grand Prix. He also jumped impressive in the 1.45m Futures class at Waikato Showjumping.
 
Cupid is brave, will always go, powerful and a scopey jumper that loves to show off his job. Easy to do anything with on the ground, shoe, clip, travel etc. As a young horse he had a few quirks but maturity has seen these diminish and he really is a fun easy horse to have on the team. Cupid has been carefully produced by professionals as well as being shared with a Young Rider that is juggling University and riding. Cupid has lots of potential for bigger classes and it is very rare you get a horse with a pedigree like his that’s available at an optimal age. He is only available for sale because rider is at varsity and has young ones coming through so need to keep numbers down.
 
Cupid had x-rays done dated in January 2023, small finding which still has him classified as a normal medical risk.
