7yr old Warmblood 17.2hh Bay Gelding, by Weiti Kingswood (Indoctro/Corland) out of Jane (Doringcourt). DOB 12.11.16
Jethro has been slowly and carefully produced allowing time to spell in-between being in work. He is a big, forward moving lad with plenty of power in his engine. Moves nicely off the leg, and working in a kind frame on the flat, while now learning leg yielding and lengthening of strides. He has competed up to 1.10 Show Jumping and Show Hunter. He has been to three cross country schooling sessions (1.05cm / 1.10cm) each one showing me how incredibly bold and brave he is. Never stopped at anything, and taking you right to the fence each time. He is a powerful cross country ride and needs a confident, talented rider to truly bring out his full potential.
Jethro is super easy to handle on the ground and has impeccable manners. He is perfect to clip, truck, shoe, rug, catch, worm. Super to hack out by himself or with company. Great on the road with trucks and bikes. Can be paddocked alone or with others and respects tape. He is an absolute smooch and loves being pampered over.
He won the Woodhill Winter Show Hunter Rising star series 2021 with limited outings. He is very sensible in a competition atmosphere and nothing much fazes him. Jethro has shown incredible potential at being a top eventing prospect for someone who wants to go all the way. A very sad sale as he a much loved member of the family and truly is a special horse. Will only be sold to a competitive home only.
