Horse for sale

I have had Demi in my care for about 16 years, 15.2hh black/bay mare, Anamour x tb. Demi is a very sweet and loving horse, I have held on to her for so many years hoping to get the chance to get back out and compete. However, with a new baby and return to extensive work hours, I know I will not have the time she deserves.

Demi is extremely accomplished on the flat, competing in many A&P's, we also qualified, competed and placed in HOY rising star on the flat in 2011. We were very successful in dressage. I don’t believe Demi ever left a class or competition without a ribbon. Demi is also a skilled jumper, we competed around 1m sj and sh – however this isn't my 'thing' so I didn't actively pursue it.

After HOY in 2011, I travelled for a number of years before returning to NZ. I have jumped on and off her as I found time. She is not nasty, and I have no problems with her. However, I would not call Demi a school mistress - she can still spook and will need a bit of work to get her back into action. Demi has no real health concerns and has always had good feet.

Since Demi hasn’t had a massive career, she hasn’t aged into an ‘old’ horse, she still has many years of outings, lessons, riding, competition etc left.

Demi is a lovely girl, and she loves spending time being groomed and pampered. I am hoping to find a home for her where she can receive the treatment she loves and can use her talent for someone’s pleasure.

Demi has been out on a lease and will be returning to me shortly.
