Smokey is 15.3hh 7yr old stationbred with Pindato Desparado lines
He was born and bred on the steep hills of Rangitikei and started life as a farm hack. He was used for everyday farm work, mustering etc. He would happily wait patient while yard work was happening and is a real “just get on and go” type, little to no fuss.
More recently he started his flat and jumping career, he shows talent and a great work ethic.
He has been to low level jumping shows competing in 80cm/90cm. He has been schooled over RTR jumps, spars and xcountry jumps.
His flat work is coming along nicely. He moves well with an expressive trot and a lovely rhythmic canter.
Smokey is currently bare foot but has been shod previously. He floats and trucks without fuss and is a gentleman to handle.
He stands patiently tied to the float out and about, goes quietly and is unfazed by most things.
He has a heap of potential to be a genuine all rounder in the right hands
