Cricket has been a delight to raise in her first year. Purpose bred to be an outstanding multi discipline sporthorse with an athletic build and a sound mind. Mum was a fabulous eventer, show jumper and hunter competing with success up to 2* she also has the most immaculate temperament and is a calm, quiet mare that is easy to do everything with and a straightforward, steady horse to ride. She has passed this exceptional attitude, as well as her stunning flaxen looks onto her daughter.

Lion King babies are well known for the long legged athleticism and their calm, trainable attitudes with several of his progeny now out competing and doing well. Lion King himself proved his ability and attitude turning his hoof to Show Jumping, Dressage and Eventing with success.

Cricket is a nicely put together filly with everything in proportion, you can already see prospect of the striking horse she will become. She has good legs and feet and a nice straight back and a great neck. She is extremely well handled as you can see in the video and genuinely enjoys all interactions and is easy to catch as she tends to catch you and beg to be haltered, she ties up to a single piece of twine and has never pulled back, rugs on and off loose in the paddock and thinks tubes of stuff squirted in her mouth are awesome - the video is mostly her firsts and are presented most recent to oldest to demonstrate in an unvarnished way exactly where she's at *lots of the footage is sped up to 2x to keep the length of the video down without editing too much*. Cricket loves people and is always looking to get involved in whatever is going on and joins in calmly and politely (additional video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBPUSG-ZRno). She will be easy to start under saddle as she already loves to pop her head in the bridle and have the saddle on her back like the big horses, she's happy to stand next to the mounting block and be leaned on and she loves to hang out in the float, self loading and relaxed. Nothing phases her and I believe her brave, confident way of being as well as her enthusiasm for people and participation in whatever is going around her will make her an asset to a competitive home looking for a young horse to produce in the future.

Viewing in North Canterbury or lots of video available.
