Pony for sale

Murfre Boy George. 15 yr old Gelding.

George was my daughters first pony and has been with us in Auckland, Central Otago and Canterbury since Dec 2020.

He’s an intelligent, Welshie with a big personality who thrives on fun, variation and competitions. Hes won many Cat A Show Hunter, C Ring (Novice still) and RTR wide ribbons. Hes done show jumping up to 80, interschools, games, 65 eventing, dressage lvl 1 and C Certificate pony club. He has hunted with previous owners.

He would suit a gutsy child who is already out competing, wanting to win and have fun. Hes mostly more whoa than go but loves a good gallop and does get a twinkle in his eye from time to time. He is not a lead rein pony.

Hes always been barefoot, is great to do everything with (catch, farrier, float, truck, teeth, worm, etc) but needs sedating to be clipped. Never been lame. Does get grass affected. Has had Asthma for a short period on one property, once in 15 years.

Comes with covers, Pessoa 15 3/4 saddle and Hinterland bridle and snaffle. Option to buy his great condition Bates show saddle and showing bridles etc

George will be sold to a knowledgeable, competitive home that appreciates how special he is. We would also like first right to buy him back please.
