Bizzie Boots and All

Boots has been a much-loved part of our family since he was just two years old. He has been carefully produced by his young rider, with the guidance and support of professional riders along the way. We have taken our time developing him, with regular schooling sessions and plenty of varied experience.

Boots has extensively hacked around our dairy farm and has always been a brave, sensible and willing pony. He started his showing career in the Show Hunter ring, where he showed plenty of promise in Cat C, with wins and placings. He also attended Pony Club and hunted one season with Northland hunt when younger.

Over the past year, our main focus has been showjumping. Boots has schooled up to 1.15m and competed successfully up to 1m. We have deliberately taken our time with him and believe that, with the right rider and continued education, he has the ability to progress towards Mini Prix level.

He has had limited eventing starts, simply because this has not been our main focus. However, we feel Boots would be very well suited to eventing. He is brave, careful, athletic and loves to get on with the job. He has also had extensive dressage schooling and has a lovely foundation across all three disciplines.

Most importantly, Boots is an absolute pleasure to have around. He is a genuine, kind and much-loved pony who has been a huge part of our family.

This is a very sad sale. His young rider is becoming increasingly committed with school work and other ponies, and unfortunately we simply do not have the time Boots deserves.

We are looking for a loving, knowledgeable home where his potential can be developed and, most importantly, where he will be cherished.
