Cracker is a proven all-rounder who has the scope and versatility to turn his hand to any discipline. He’s forward and has plenty of engine, making him an ideal second pony for a rider ready to step up — he has taught our daughter to ride a forward pony. He has given her the confidence and experience needed for the next stage of her competitive career with hacks. Is mostly ridden in a snaffle bit.
Has always been good for the farrier; we have trucked and floated him, and he has been good to clip, though he doesn't love his legs being done; has been good for the dentist and to drench, catch, etc. Is a very bossy paddock mate and does like to see other horses.
He is not suited to someone with a hot seat; he prefers a rider with a quiet mind. Genuine, fun, and honest in his work, he’s been a fantastic partner, and this sale is purely because it’s time for him to move on to his next family with a new rider, as our daughter is away at boarding school and I can't keep them all in work. 5* home only as he is a very special pony and deserves the best.
