Lofty is talented jumping pony with plenty of scope and ability. Currently jumping around the 90cm–1m tracks, he has all the ingredients to continue progressing with his next rider. Careful, athletic and genuine over a fence, he absolutely loves his jumping and is always looking for the next challenge.

Over the past few years, my focus has been on producing Lofty into a well-rounded, versatile pony rather than heavily competing him. Alongside his showjumping, he has dabbled in cross-country and has recently been confidently schooling around 90cm, where he has shown himself to be sensible, willing and very rideable. He has all the makings of a fantastic eventing pony.

Lofty is a responsive, forward-thinking ride without being hot or silly. He happily works off the leg and enjoys having a rider who rides positively and confidently. He would be best suited to a capable rider wanting a fun, quality pony to compete and enjoy, although in a knowledgeable home he could equally suit a less experienced rider looking to step up the grades with guidance.

Away from jumping, Lofty has also enjoyed success in pleasure showing, consistently coming home with ribbons, including Champion and Supreme Champion titles. While he presents beautifully, he thrives on variety and would be happiest in a home where he can continue jumping while enjoying a mixed lifestyle.

One of Lofty's greatest qualities is his temperament on the ground. He is an absolute gentleman to handle and the pony everyone wants to deal with when conditions are less than ideal. He is excellent to catch, float, cover, full-body clip, shoe and handle, making him an easy and enjoyable pony to own.

Lofty has had no soundness issues, carries no scars, and has been a reliable, durable partner. He has been exceptionally well cared for, is up to date with teeth, worming and farrier, and is fit and ready to go.

This is a genuine and very sad sale of a much-loved pony, only due to his rider moving onto hacks. A five-star home is an absolute must, as finding the right match is far more important than a quick sale.
