We are putting the feelers out if we can find a kind confident and more capable rider around the 12-16 year old mark to take the reins.

My daughter is 10 years old and is a kind capable rider and she’s doing well progressing with Boots but she tiny and he’s taking the Mickey as he’s not had such a small rider on him.

This pony needs to be with a teenager competing regularly and will thrive going up the heights.
I think he could easily do 1.20m
He has scope and potential to burn and we aren’t the right home ….yet.

We have treated Boots for ulcers and he performed so much better, I would probably recommend keeping him on ulcer shield as it made a difference when competing regularly.

He was scoped Tuesday 10 February just to check if we had cleared up the ulcers and he was clear, so I’m eating humble pie, and seeing if we can find a more suitable rider to take over.

I think he’s bored and needs a rider to take him up the heights and get on with it.

He’s had two small adult riders jump on to see what he’s like and of course he went beautifully.

My daughter took him round the pony club RTR course a week ago and he flew round and looked amazing but then Sunday was just mucking around on her.
One of the pony club teenagers jumped on him and he was fine.

We have had him since July 2025 and although we can keep going we are seeing who’s out there if we can find him a bigger rider to go and excel with.

Not interested in leasing him, but would like first right of purchase in the future.
No beginners or nervous riders.
