Pony for sale

Campeon Evie is an 11 year old, 14.1 NZ sports pony mare by Galaxy Spring Fever out of a Glencree mare. Evie has a lovely sweet personality and really loves her job.

Evie has showjumped with us up to 1m with success, she is a very honest jumper and doesn't stop. She has completed up to 1.05 in the North Island. Evie has been the “3rd” pony for my daughter meaning she hasn’t been a priority and as much opportunity/time as she deserves.

She can do nice flatwork and works well in the frame. She has evented at 95cm before, going clear without much preparation for the event. She’s trained over 95-105 cross-country fences, where she was brave and jumped well.

Evie is great for the farrier, great to truck, can be handled by young kids - she’s very safe on the ground. Good to hack out alone or with company, great with busy environments and traffic. She’s very sensible and rarely spooks. Nothing really phases this pony, she’s very brave and a good doer. She has had a foal (unbeknownst to us she was pregnant when we got her) and was a very good mother. This totally disrupted our journey with her though.

We are selling her because her current rider is overcommitted with 3 ponies and Year 12 exams and doesn’t have the time to do justice to Evie.

If Evie was in a home where she was the main priority she would love it. She is suitable as a pony club mount for a less advanced rider - and would be very good as a fun pony in farm/hacking type home. We brought her to showjump and whilst she has good jumping ability she needs a capable rider to showjump or event at height as she can get hot. She wouldn't be suitable for a beginner rider as she is a forward moving pony and is keen to get on with the task at hand.
