Pony for sale

Twiggy is a Bay Gisborne station bred mare we have enjoyed owning for a year and a half who has been ridden by both my daughters.

She has wide experience, ranging from show hunter, pony club and show jumping and has a beautiful manner.

My eldest had her at Nga Tawa for the first two terms last year without competing but has since given up riding to concentrate on other sports.

Now back in Taranaki Twiggy was being brought back into work and ridden by my youngest (12) in early December then we had to spend a month in England packing our house up. While away a friend from pony club looked after her and rode her occasionally.

Her half sister (Rubik's Cube) has achieved great success in multi disciplines competing across Taranaki and Twiggy has great jumping potential also.

Twiggy is easy to handle on the ground / loading / travelling etc (doesn't scramble). Super easy to catch, tack up and for the farrier. Happy by herself or with a paddock mate. Currently barefoot (farrier visited mid Jan) and generally low maintenance with nil Vet history.

Price includes saddle, bridle and a range of weight of rugs. Ideally suited to either an ambitious rider who wants more than a push button horse but one that will teach them lots; or solid shape also suitable to a Mother/Daughter combo.
