Pony for sale

Sassy Pants, 15 year old, grey mare 12.2 hand welsh pony.
We have made the difficult decision to sell our cute little Sassy pants as I am moving away for the rest of the year, and we believe she is ready to move onto greater things with a new rider.

Sass has been a shared family pony that we have used predominantly for mounted games in the last four years. She is an amazing games pony known as our little pocket rocket who is willing and eager to learn. However we have discovered that Sass has a lot of potential in many other disciplines and would be an excellent all round pony for a confident, experienced rider. She is forward and sensitive so requires someone who is calm and kind (probably not a first pony).

Sass has trained up to 85cm showjumping and 80cm eventing. She has lots of potential on the flat and it takes a lot to spook her. She loves to jump so is a point and shoot type of pony who can turn on a dime which could make her a winner in the show jump ring.

We haven’t really had her out competing in eventing or showjumping due to our sizes on her, but she is used to big atmospheres as she has competed at Horse of the Year two times as well as many national games comps.

She is awesome to trek out with others or alone, she doesn’t tend to get herd-bound and Sass has been ridden at rivers, beaches, through forests etc.
She is easy to lead, trim, float, truck, wash, has never foundered, and will be fine for shoeing but we have always kept her barefoot due to her hard hooves.

We are looking for a loving home for Sass as she has always been a back up pony, and we believe she deserves to be somebody's number one.
