Pony for sale

Volaré Athena is a beautiful 12 y/o, 143 cm Bay Mare. She is a NZ Sporthorse x English Riding Pony by Windward Rebel / Heroicity.

We are very sad to say that our lovely Athena is up for sale. Athie is simply the sweetest, kindest most genuine pony. She is extremely affectionate towards people and is ready to have lots of fun with a new rider!

Athie is an honest pony, and an uncomplicated ride. She has good technique over the fence and has show-jumped to mini prix, evented to 80 cm (double clear with results), and has been a successful show pony with her previous owner. She is great at pony club, is safe to hack out alone, ride on the beach, or ride on the road. We think Athie would be best be suited as a second or third pony and will be perfect for someone looking for a pony they can do everything with.

In the show jumping ring Athie knows her job, and is very honest so will do nippy turns in a jump off. She has competed up to 1.20m but we think is best suited to teaching the ropes at slightly lower heights. She has a soft mouth, listens to her rider, and has no dirt (doesn’t buck, bolt, rear, etc). She is straight forward to catch, float, shoe, and has good ground manners.
