Has good strong feet.
Good doer
Nicely put together, Athletic solid type.
Beautiful rhythm and paces
Naturally he is definitely more woe then go, he will go as forward moving as you ask him, he’s learning to come away from your leg and thats when he opens up and moves beautifully and covers the ground nicely but always keeps his rhythm
Snaffle mouth
Hes very level headed , relaxed ride
Has had basic schooling. I have been very slack with being consistent with him with lack of time, but what ive done with him so far he has learnt quickly and is going as nice as he could with the amount of work hes had.
Currently being ridden around once a week.
Good to ride alone and in company (only ridden with one other horse though)
Been to the beach and forest and the odd training facilities.
Ive popped him over a few showjumps with him, hes still very green and is building his confidence but he shows a great shape over a fence with plenty of scope in his jump. Has a nice loose back end.
Great to float/truck
I think he could be quite happy to be a happy hacker, low level , ponyclub type mount but has the athleticism to be more if thats what your after.
I could see him excelling in dressage or show hunter, as hes quite happy to go along in a nice rhythm and not rush. But could make a nice eventer aswell.
I see so much potential in him, he just needs the right rider to bring it out.
On the ground Jack loves attention, he’s a very interactive horse, he stands quietly in the yards, he is super intelligent and can be cheeky and moody at times. He needs someone experienced and confident.
Ive known him since a 2 year old in the racing stable, he did become very sour and aggressive when being stabled/raced.
Since being out of racing i have not seen this side of him.
He can be grumpy around food, ive done alot of work on him with this and now you can rug him and things etc while hes eating but you just have to be aware and keep him in line, a little grr will make him stop.
Im just noting these quirks to be honest even tho you don’t really see this behaviour often, if you love the sound of him otherwise , i can send through a video of what it is that he does as for some it isn’t that bad.
But overall he’s a really great ride, a very loving horse and loves a good scratch and cuddle and loves spending time with you, he will come running to you in the paddock and will follow you around, hes very playful.
He obviously just never wanted to be a racehorse and became a bit grumpy and sour during that time and is learning that there is a new way to life and that people aren’t as bad as he thought :)
Even though he has these little quirks on the ground hes still a really fun ride and laidback sort of horse, and he will just get better and better, im sure someone else will see the good in him like i have.
Im reluctant to see him go as i really do love him and have grown fond of him. Ive never been a fan of TB’s but this boy has really changed my perspective on them as hes actually super fun and I’ve really enjoyed his companionship but im having to let him go as ive got some up and coming youngstock that i need to focus on and cant give him the time and consistency he deserves!
Very negotiable on price, i just want him to end up in a loving home.
