Marley has hunted 3 seasons, last season being her biggest with 4 trips away and 22 hunts over four months
Travelled all over the south island
8 different hunts - handles steeper terrain very well and done back to back weekends
Been taken on slowly show jump schooling before jumping on the hunt field and after a season and half of gating. Likes to be front of the field. Fun, forward ride with no dirt.
She had been owned by us since she was 3 years old, great at staying by herself or with the others in a herd
Has been given breaks in riding to grow and get fat
Great to deal with our other young ones, ponying and standing at the float etc. Horses generally accept her as boss and look to gain confidence from her
Good doer, gains fitness easily
Great to shoe, clip, cover, teeth, worm, float, wish every horse could be as easy to deal with as her
Recently started eventing and showing great confidence out on cross county. Has show hunter, showing, RTR and eventing potential.
