Horse for sale

Winnie is a rising 8yr old, 16.1hh thoroughbred by Sooboog out of Moohariba. Winnie has a super loveable and goofy nature. On the ground he is like a big dog, he always comes when called and will spend all day wanting attention. He has been living on steep hill country since coming off the track 3 years ago. He is fine paddocked alone and in company, maintaining his weight well. He has been use to work cattle and move sheep tracking the ridged, steep hill country like an old pro. He has a nice calm demeanour and is happy to be ridden alone and in company. He has been ridden out on busy, public walkways, through dense bush and over steep countryside. He is very level headed and sure footed with nice hard feet (currently barefoot). He is easy to shoe, drench, float (self loader) and handle. He has schooled to 1.10m and has the basics of flatwork.
Winnie does have a superficial scar on his front leg from a paddock injury late last year but has never had any soundness issues. Originally brought for my mum to ride (an advanced beginner) but although she adores him he is too tall for her short legs. I have been riding him most days since getting back into riding after an extensive leg injury which he has been great for me to re-establish with.
Although I would love to keep him to compete, he is Only for sale due to me constantly travelling and needing to downsize the number of horses I have while still in recovery (as he is going to waste not being used to his full potential).
