Flo is a beautiful, blingy, athletic mare with three nice straight paces and a natural ability and keenness for jumping. She is schooling up to 90cm and has previously jumped up to 1m, showing scope and carefulness.
Bred with performance in mind, Flo’s Centavos bloodlines combined with her Thoroughbred dam give her the athleticism, movement, and careful jump desirable for showjumping. She shows ability for the discipline and has the foundations to continue progressing with the right rider. She is very intelligent and loves being praised for her efforts, she definitely thrives of routine and having a job to do.
Flo is low mileage as I am over-committed with full time work now and uni before that so her education has taken a back seat. However, Flo is currently in full work and ready for the right rider to take over. She is fit, sound, and recently completed schooling with Georgia Lawrie. As a 5 year old she completed a half season of pony club and has done schooling with several other trainers across her career so has had a variety of experiences with different environments and riders.
Flo has some quirks (happy to discuss further) therefore would suit a confident, competent rider looking to continue her education and enjoy her potential, possibly would suit a teenager/someone wanting to further produce a quality hack. She is NOT suited to a first horse or a nervous rider, as she benefits from a rider who can give her clear, consistent riding to further her experience.
She floats and trucks well in a straight or angle loader, is good to catch, good to worm, enjoys being handled and having attention, and hacks confidently over the farm and forest. Can be paddocked alone or with others although is always the bottom of the food chain.
Flo has had recent vet check and physio appointment as well as regular trimming, never needing shoes.
