After being turned out he has been with us for 5mths to enjoy for the season and then sell on behalf. After a short time we were planning how we could buy him ourselves, but with daughter off to work in Blenheim in May it’s sadly not viable.
He was green but keen, always at the gate saying pick me! Within a few short months he’s graduated to a been there, done that!
Beach, forest, hunt field training days, pony club, xc training days, eventing.
He went to Clevedon 2DE, Matamata 3DE, while working behind the scenes to develop jumping technique and self carriage and then placed 4th 80cm at barge park 2DE with beautiful dressage comments recognising his work ethic and lovely nature and double clear jumping.
He gives his heart and more every time he’s under saddle, he goes above and beyond to please and be educated.
He travels happily and arrives relaxed and confident, and will happily seperate from travel companions.
Beautiful energetic action with a little more whoa than go, but forwardness and self carriage improves all the time, with a lovely rocking horse, high knee action becoming more and more consistent.
He is a family/judge/instructor favourite, he gets noticed and admired.
He hacks out alone or in company past unusual and noisy obstacles without a care.
He is cool in the warmup and not distracted by any nonsense around him. He is a confidence giver with so much to give and build on, he would be wasted with a beginner as he is still learning and will go far. He would suit a ‘been there done that’ returning to riding looking for their fabulous new forever, or a teenager who never wants to be disappointed, or anyone with the time to continue from where we’ve enjoyed getting him to.
He is waiting to be someone’s absolute hero.
Be ready to spell out why you would be deserving of such a horse, only the best of homes will get to view him.
