Cheese is a seriously exciting 9-year-old with all the right pieces in place for someone wanting to step up the levels on a genuine horse.
Currently competing comfortably at 1.30m and starting to step into 1.35m–1.40m, he gives a really nice feel over a fence.

He’s naturally careful, has plenty of scope, a big stride, and all the ability you’d expect, but what really makes him stand out is his mindset.

He’s the type that wants to help you out. If you get it wrong, he’s there to sort it rather than catch you out, which is something not many horses at this level offer. He gives confidence and lets you ride, making him a great option for someone looking to move up the grades without feeling overwhelmed.

In the ring, he knows his job. He walks in and switches on. He is focused, competitive, and ready to go, but without getting silly or over the top. He has presence, but he’s still rideable and straightforward, with a real “game face” when it counts.

Bred and produced by Takapoto Stables, by Check In II out of Argento, he’s had a proper education and has been given the time to develop correctly.

At home, he is very affectionate, loves attention, and just easy to have around. No vices, no nonsense, good to shoe, clip, truck, and hack. He’s been out through forest, beach, and farmland, travels well, and settles easily at shows.

He’s been ridden and competed in a snaffle and is generally a relaxed, rideable horse. As a quality blood horse, he does have presence and energy, so he’ll suit a confident rider who wants something with ability but still values feel and partnership.
