Chalky has competed up to 1.15m show jumping this season and has schooled to 1.40 with ease. He is a promising competitive mount ready to start competing to higher levels, with a bright future ahead of him. Last competitive outing he was used as a borrowed mount for the Trans-Tasman Young Rider Team event. Due to rider being away he hasn’t been competed since, sincere sale for this horse who has too much potential to be sitting in the paddock.

Sadly, Chalky is offered for sale after putting it off for as long as possible. Unfortunately, his rider doesn’t have the time to for him as is frequently away traveling.

Chalky is an extremely safe, kind and genuine horse who absolutely loves to jump with a huge amount of scope. Has taught and taken a teenager who has never jumped before up the heights.

Has been schooled and competed professionally this season only because his rider had other international sporting commitments. 10 years old but has really only jumped 2 competitive seasons. Although a late starter to his show jumping career, he has heaps of potential to go a long way. He would make someone a super competitive horse to succeed over much bigger heights than he’s currently been competed at. Well established on the flat, schools nicely in a soft collected frame, snaffle mouth, flying changes. Easy to take out and enjoys hacking out through the forest. Has a lovely temperament in the paddock, most friendly horse ever. Wants to be everyone’s best friend. Great to catch, shoe, clip, handle, travel. Can hop on after not being ridden for ages and easy to ride bareback.

Chalky would suit a variety of riders whether you’re looking for a safe, honest all-round type, eventer, hunter, or a horse with all the scope and potential for JR/YR or AR mount.
