Deja is the ultimate jumping prospect suited to a rider wanting a fun but competitive mount. He is show jumping to 1.20m and showing to be very genuine, careful and brave. He has also begun x-country schooling and is bold with a great gallop.

Deja keeps a lovely rhythm to the fence and is straight forward to ride. He is fantastic to bring back into work, good to trek out (bareback or in a saddle), and very consistent in his day to day riding. Because of this he would be a fantastic horse to move onto after ponies as he lacks the sensitivity of most modern warmbloods, while still possessing the power needed to jump the big tracks.

Deja is 6-years old and stands at 16.3hh, but looks and rides more like a 16.1hh horse. As a 5-year old he spent the season hacking around the farm building strength as he was still developing in his body. This season has has done seven shows building foundations, before stepping up to his first 1.10m and 1.20m last weekend at Takapoto which he was incredible at.

Though he is so easy in many ways, because he is still learning about the sport, we would love to see him with a capable rider who can continue producing him. Home is very important to us as Deja was born and bred on our farm, out of Kelly’s very successful mare Ngahiwi Dancer by Daminos (1.50m jumper by Diarado). He is only for sale as Kelly is no longer able to compete in jumping.
