RV Delilah

Three year old registered Nz Warmblood and DNA tested filly.
By Chacco Silver out of Ornellaia ECPH. (Senator VDL-Cordeur-Grannus) full pedigree on the NZWB Database.

Currently standing at 166.5cm with a lot of substance, she’s an exceptional type with powerful movement.
Delilah has been very well handled and has an amazing temperament. She trucks and floats alone and in company.
Not mareish or squealy.
Can cover and uncover her without catching.
Ties up both in cross ties and to the truck/fence.
Great to wash, get her feet done and worm.
First one over to greet you in the paddock and is happy to be loaded on the float taken away from her friends while they are running like idiots!
Not at all clingy.

I have started her under saddle and she’s been incredibly easy. Out in the open arena on her third ride. Walk, trot and canter on both reins. By the fourth ride she was getting the right canter lead first time.
She’s really responsive to the leg and nicely forward while also having a great mouth/listens to my voice to go more forward or slow down/stop. She has never bucked/put her back up etc. Delilah feels really safe to sit on.

Delilah has recently attended an in hand show where she behaved perfectly. Bringing home a win in the Youngstock Riding horse/Sport Horse and then Champion Riding Horse/Sport Horse.

Delilah has done some lunge jumping and shows plenty of natural ability, fabulous technique and bravery.

She has great quality feet and plenty of bone.
Delilah has been fed correctly, vaccinated, wormed, teeth done and wolf teeth out by a qualified dental vet, regular 6 weekly trims and grown with a lot of love and care. She hasn’t missed out on anything.
Extremely sad sale by her breeder. She has been a total pleasure to educate from day one.

Ornellaia ECPH competed to 1.25m 6yr old classes and was a very successful show hunter horse winning Canterbury and South Island open horse titles until a paddock accident ended her jumping career. Her temperament was second to none and she has passed that on to Delilah.

Chacco Silver has left multiple proven jumpers already. He’s by 2017 world number one jumping sire Chacco Blue and also has the famous Cor De La Bryere on both sides of his pedigree. His dam sire Cellestial has also had progeny in the top of the world jumping rankings.
This is the breeding of jumping royalty.
Chacco Silver himself received an excellence for his classification in 2018.

Ornellaia ECPH by frozen semen Orlando and out of a Senator VDL X Cordeur mare Auburn Princess MVNZ also the dam of Monte Carlo MVNZ and Enja MVNZ.
Auburn Princess’s dam was imported mare Charming Princess. She’s left multiple top level jumpers including Gina MVNZ, Octavia MVNZ, Finn MVNZ, Cervelt MVNZ and Cadet MVNZ.

With Delilah’s outstanding fully European pedigree this filly is born to shine.
