Toby, a 7-year-old well bred gelding by the known sire Euro Sport Centavos, renowned for producing quality sporthorses with scope, talent, and rideability. His dam, Indy, is a versatile mare with Oldenburg, Warmblood breeding out of Marokopa Captain and A East Coast Station Bred Mare (unknown), Indy has who has successfully hunted, show jumped, and evented with my mum.

Toby has grown up on our family farm, with a great start to life and plenty of exposure to all the things going on the farm. He was professionally broken in as a 3-year-old and has been lightly worked since, showing a kind nature and a willingness to learn.

He has been schooled at our local pony club over cross country fences and has been schooled at home over showjumps. While still green, Toby has good basics in place and is ready for someone to continue bringing him on.

Toby is a big horse who’s taken time to grow into himself, so we’ve allowed him to mature slowly and haven’t rushed his education. He’s now ready to step up into more consistent work and shows real potential.

Like many young horses, Toby has his quirks, but he is a genuinely sweet horse with a great temperament for his age and breeding.

Only for sale due to lack of time—I’m currently studying at university in the South Island and unfortunately can’t give him the attention he deserves. I have always planned on keeping him forever, but I know he cannot be wasted.

Toby would suit a confident rider looking for a quality young horse to produce in any discipline.

He has had a vet issue to do with a tooth, that we are openly and happy to discuss further. Currently in not work due to work and university commitments.

Great to load and travel, can be with or without a mate.
