Petanque (Tonka) is a 16-year-old, 16.1hh gelding with an impressive competition background. He has previously competed to Premier Junior Rider level with great success and has also shown great potential in the Show Hunter ring.

Beautifully schooled on the flat, Tonka has three lovely paces and established flying changes. He is the ultimate all-rounder and will happily excel in whichever discipline his new rider chooses.

Tonka is a true gentleman who knows his job and genuinely aims to please. He is excellent to hack with or without company and is used to moving stock alongside working dogs. Tonka would make a wonderful mount for a junior, amateur rider, or someone coming off ponies.

He is a dream to clip, shoe, and worm. However, he can only be sold to an angle loader or a trucking home.

Tonka has had 6 months off due to his rider's health, which is reflected in his price.

This is an extremely sad sale of a very important member of our family. He will only be sold to a 5-star home!
