Out of Ballytruckle Rosheen - 152.5cm bay by Mill Creek Valiant (Welsh Section D) out of Rookley Rose (TB). Bloodlines include Llanina Morning Blaze, Valuta, Red Jester, and Foxbridge.

Luna is a well-mannered and sensible horse who is good to handle in all aspects (with the exception of having her mane pulled). She has attended two in-hand ribbon days, where she consistently displayed excellent behaviour and maturity, often standing out among older horses. She has a touch of sass, balanced with a sensible and willing nature.

Luna attended the Great Lakes Welsh Show in December 2025, her first time staying away overnight. She travelled well, settled easily, and ate and drank normally. Although a little enthusiastic in-hand, she won her age class and placed third overall in the New Zealand-bred partbred section, competing against all ages.

Luna competed in her age class at the North Island Premier Showing Championships in Kihikihi on 10 January, coming away with Reserve Champion Youngstock. Again, she ate and drank happily in her yard.

She has a notable overtrack at the walk, with a rhythmical, balanced canter. While she is not being marketed as a high-performance Olympic prospect, she shows potential as a versatile, genuine all-rounder across multiple disciplines.
