We are seeking an eventer for our capable, hardworking daughter. We are looking at two options:
Option 1: A talented young horse to develop in conjunction with an experienced adult rider to gain confidence and mileage, before fully transitioning to our daughter in the future.
OR
Option 2: A schoolmaster type. Preferably that has evented to at least 95/105 level.
Our daughter turns 14 in early August and is a capable, hardworking rider. She is currently competing at 95cm on a 17.2hh mount and they will move up to 105cm this spring. We are looking for a horse with the potential or experience to do advanced level eventing.
Our wish list is:
- A horse aged 5–14 years
- 16hh+ ( ideally around 16.2hh as our daughter is 5'8" tall)
- We are open to a gelding or mare
- We would prefer some TB blood in the mix and we may consider a full TB
- A kind, trainable nature and a sensible, safe brain is a non-negotiable
- Some foundation flatwork and jumping experience preferred
- Sound and correct with no vices
