Southern Duke (Duke) is a 15.2hh Warmblood X - Sire Ramagen – Born 2018

Duke has done a bit of everything and is happy to give everything a go but has excelled in the show ring, often coming home with Champion or Reserve ( but with Novice wins still on his card allowing you to campaign him yourself). His “ look at me presence” and smooth paces has also translated well into the dressage arena coming home with great results and comments about this being an area he could well excel in.

Good to shoe, hack, float, truck, wash, clip, tie up, happy paddocking alone and not clingy to his mates – he’s also been led to the truck by a 5-year-old – giving you an idea of how polite this wee man is on the ground. Current owner has had him since he was weaned, however he just never grew big enough, so he needs to find his own person who he will happily greet at the gate every morning and wants to please.

Duke is available for viewings in West Melton and the price negotiable to the right person as we really want to see this top hack/ park hack out and enjoying life.

Due to his size would be a great hack for a teen coming off ponies in the dressage/ show ring, now wanting to take a horse through the grades, or a smaller more established rider wanting to really give HOY a solid crack as we believe this boy has the talent and looks to take someone there.
