This straightforward, fun, and kind mare is looking for a new rider. If you want to enjoy a balance of competition and companionship, Gem is your girl.

She is a low level winner! Having won and placed in dressage, eventing, and inhand and flat classes, Gem is a proven competitive mount!

This is a seriously cool opportunity for someone with a small budget wanting a fun low level best friend! Gem is kind and as genuine as they come. Well mannered, easy to handle and have around. Gem loves hacking out and going on adventures. She works kindly on the flat and is extremely honest and bold. Her personality is faultless and she certainly kicks all chestnut mare stereotypes to the side! Gem is a good doer with good feet with no known history of serious injuries or illnesses.

Gem is a sensitive girl and will require a quiet, calm and balanced rider to get the best from her. She is senstive to the leg and contact but never strong or the type to overreact. She can get hot when jumping and has a tendency to rush the jumps, however this is easily managed if you're a rider who is able to remain calm and supportive. This is Gems only major quirk as she is otherwise very straightforward. She is not the type to buck rear or nap and I have found her to be super easy in everyway!

Personally I believe Gem will be a perfect fit for a young adult who is capable on hot horses and wanting a fun horse to do a bit of everything with. Gem is not a horse who needs to be ridden everyday so she would fit in with busy work or study commitments. She would benefit from being with other horses.

If you don't like her simply for being a TB, please just consider her for a moment! She was produced in a sporthorse home and doesn't show traits typical of a TB. She's also a fabulous doer and never raced or trialed.

Gem is currently out of work and will be sold as is, where is to the best home. All reasonable offers considered. She comes with some gear and we can arrange local drop off if needed.
